Searching for more mobile2.0 information led me to http://www.mobiface.com/, a blog about mobile device UI and innovations. There is a nice concept UI post which is based on an adaptive interface. As one of the comments points out, the design bears strong resemblance to Quicksilver for Mac OS X, but this is no bad thing.
Quicksilver is an amazingly fluid and 'usable' (terrible phrase) interface. Certainly, with the limitations and restrictions imposed by mobile devices (namely size and lack of inputs), an adaptive interface such as this is almost a neccessity - especially when considering detrimental physical effects of increasing mobile use.
